Green installed two 850 ton cooling towers, one 350 ton cooling tower, ten annealing furnaces, two plate heat exchangers, structural steel support framing for the 850 ton cooling towers. In addition, we installed all process and utility piping from small diameter to 18' diameter cooling tower process water.
Green worked directly with Worthington Steel's project engineering and management staff during the entire expansion project.
This project required rigging the new cooling towers, support steel and furnaces in the existing annealing building without interrupting the operations of the annealing process. Green Contracting completed this project 2-1/2 months ahead of schedule.
